INSTALLATION

When connecting the "rigid" network pipes to our fittings (or extra fittings mounted by you or by us or welded according to your instructions), it is essential to insert flexible pipes at least twice the diameter of the fitting or preferably an expansion joint, to avoid subjecting the fittings to stresses, bending, and tension caused by the continuous loading and unloading of the tank liquid. We note that an expansion joint or a flexible pipe must always be positioned between two fixed points appropriately sized to withstand the axial thrust of the joint itself and arranged coaxially to them. This could produce imperceptible and slight flexing of the walls that would cause damage to the fittings and/or the tank itself if the above precautions are not taken. Also provide support brackets to prevent weights and external vibrations from bearing on the tank connections. To achieve a perfect seal between the thread of the fitting and that of the flexible pipe, insert a suitable amount of PTFE (Teflon) tape layers without excessively forcing during tightening. Finally, screw the tank hatch without tightening it and ensure that the vent valve (or vent system) used to maintain constant pressure inside the tank is functional.

TRANSPORT

During movement, never drag the tanks to avoid scratching or gouging them, compromising the monolithic structure and integrity at that point. In any case, never move the tank when it is full. During transport, never hit the tank against edges or blunt objects because, although very impact resistant, it may suffer damage not immediately visible. It is also recommended to secure the tanks using fabric straps by harnessing the tank body.

INSTALLATION SITE Before selecting the model of our tank, make sure that the path and the place where it will be installed are wide enough and that there is a flat base (at least the size of the tank's maximum footprint), solid and free of irregularities to support the weight of the full tank. The tank must rest entirely on the base and also be level, avoiding installation near heat sources. There must be a free zone of at least 20 cm around the tank so that the tank walls are free by at least that distance. Always consult a technician about the resistance of the structures to the loads being installed.
